LA Lakers star LeBron James had a chance to interact with other Olympic athletes, including long jumper Tara Davis-Woodhall. James took a few selfies with the other athletes, and fans were surprised with his selfie with Davis-Woodhall. They immediately shared their thoughts on the selfies that have now gone viral.

James is eyeing his third Olympic gold medal in basketball after not joining the national team since 2012. He's gathered the USA's top athletes to join him in his quest to showcase their dominance on the court. This could also be his final ride with Team USA as he's wrapped his 21st NBA season.

Davis-Woodhall made her Olympics debut in 2020. She's already collected a few gold medals in other competitions. The two got a chance to meet before the tournament's start and had to commemorate it with a selfie.

LeBron James and other veteran stars reflect on possibly their lone and final team-up with Team USA

While player movement has been going on for quite some time now, other stars still haven't considered being in a team together. Except for Steph Curry and Kevin Durant (who were with the Golden State Warriors from 2016 to 2019), other stars have always played against each other.

Looking at the current roster for the national team, it's a privilege for fans to see LeBron James team up with other great players. This might be the only time that James could play with both Curry and Durant since they're all in the latter half of their careers.

Curry shared his thoughts on the rare occasion of playing in the same team as James and Durant.

"Really cool," Curry said (h/t NBA.com). "All the battles we’ve had over the course of our career and now we get together to experience this together. It will be the only time this really happens and I know it’ll be worth it."

James also took a moment to reflect on possibly the only time he'll get to play with the former Warriors teammates.

"We’re the guys that have been playing the most basketball the last five, 10, 15 years," James said. "KD is going into Year 18. I’m going into Year 75. Steph is where he is. Being in those battles, man, makes this unique."

Fans will cherish this moment as the three biggest stars are all on the same team, and it could be the only time it will happen.
