Years after his playing NBA career has ended, Scottie Pippen is breaking into the world of fashion. Reports emerged earlier this week that the Hall of Fame forward is going into business with one of his children.
Alongside his daughter Sophia, Scottie is creating a men's fashion brand called "Unguarded." In a statement about the venture, the Chicago Bulls legend is aiming to elevate the casual streetwear style.
"With Unguarded," Pippen said, "we’ve been able to elevate the basics and escape the typical streetwear stereotypes. It’s completely unexpected how incredible this line is."

Sophia also posted a photo on her Instagram story to confirm the launch of the brand:
Scottie and Sophia came up with the idea a little less than a year ago and quickly got to work forming the brand. They've brought in some outside help, working with famous streetwear designer Cassius Smith to bring their ideas to life.
With things still in the early stages, it is going to be some time before Scottie Pippen's clothing line hits the shelves. Reports stated their current target date is in the summer of 2025.
Sophia is the youngest of Scottie's children with his ex-wife, Larsa Pippen. She is also his only daughter. Sophia already has some experience in the fashion world, doing some work as a model. She's also built up a big social media following. Her Instagram account alone already has over 225,000 followers.
Scottie Pippen's daughter posts behind the scenes look at upcoming fashion brand
As news of their new fashion line comes out, Scottie Pippen's daughter has also provided a bit of a sneak peek. Sophia posted a series of images from a photoshoot on her Instagram.
Also making an appearance in Sophia Pippen's post is fellow model Justice Harper. She stated that it was a behind-the-scenes look while teasing the eventual launch of "Unguarded."
Sophia is just one of Scottie Pippen's children who has managed to make a name for themselves. The other is his oldest son, Scotty Pippen Jr.
Scotty Jr. has spent the past few years trying to carve out a place for himself in the NBA, and his work has finally paid off. He's found a home with the Memphis Grizzlies, as the franchise signed him to a multi-year contract earlier this year.
This season, Scotty Jr. is averaging 12.1 points and 5.8 assists with the Grizzlies. He is fresh off having a career performance, ironically against the team his father won six championships with. Starting in place of an injured Ja Morant, Scotty Jr. posted 30 points and 10 assists in a win over the Chicago Bulls.
As he watches his son finally break through in the league, Scottie finds himself with an opportunity to launch a business alongside his daughter.
