For more than a decade, Scottie Pippen was regarded as one of the most feared defenders in the NBA. While his offense was also proficient, his ability to lock down some of the best players in the league made him stand out from the rest of the pack.
Pippen's lateral quickness, ability to run over screens and quick and big hands made him deadly both in on-ball defense and in passing lanes, and it seems like he hasn't lost those instincts yet.
The six-time NBA champion was at Crypto.com Arena on Sunday night to watch the Memphis Grizzlies and his son, Scottie Pippen Jr., play the LA Lakers. While there, he decided to play a little prank on the referees.
The basketball went out of bounds midgame, and Pippen hid it behind his back. Needless to say, it takes a big man to be able to pull that off.

The referees couldn't figure out what happened until the laughing Pippen finally confessed, with everybody around him also cracking up during the whole bit.
Unfortunately, he wasn't much of a lucky charm for his son, who was on the court for just nine minutes against his former team. Pippen Jr. scored two points on 1-of-4 shooting, adding two rebounds and one block in a six-point loss. The Grizzlies might have lost to the Lakers for the second time this season, but they still have the second-best record in the Western Conference.
However, another one of Pippen's children did find the moment historical. Daughter Taylor Pippen commented on the post to crack a laugh at her father's antics.
Scottie Pippen's daughter Taylor Pippen will model for NGO
Pippen's eldest daughter, Tay, isn't well-known outside of the basketball world, but she's also been busy as of late.
A prominent member of the financial community, she's also been working as a model for the past couple of years. Notably, she'll combine both of her passions to model for "Youth for a Better Future," an NGO that will host a benefit event:
"@taypippen is a big advocate of women empowerment and a smart one!" read the post. "Taylor is a commercial banker. She loves to listen to music, watches movies and host events."
The 30-year-old currently works for 10MGMT. She was a former volleyball star, but her biggest strides came in the field of finance, serving as a vice president at JP Morgan Chase.
