Scottie Pippen's, ex Larsa Pippen, supported her son Scotty Pippen Jr. after his Memphis Grizzlies team lost to the LA Clippers on Monday. Pippen Jr. played limited minutes in the 114-110 loss, with 18 minutes of action, as Ja Morant was available and was starting at point guard.
Scottie Pippen's eldest son made it count, tallying 13 points, two rebounds and two assists, shooting 5 of 10, including 3 of 4 from 3. Pippen Jr. had a tough and-1 finish at the rim, too, which made the Grizzlies' social media highlight tape before the fourth quarter began.
Larsa posted that story on her IG, tagging Pippen Jr. and adding a red heart emoji.

The Grizzlies took the game down to the wire with 20+ points from their top three stars, Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Desmond Bane. However, the LA Clippers were more clinical, and their defensive pressure bothered Memphis all night. The Grizzlies finished with 20 turnovers, which cost them the game.
Nevertheless, Memphis remained No. 3 in the West after dropping to 20-10. They are four games off the top spot, held by the OKC Thunder.
Scotty Pippen Jr. wants Grizzlies to have 'close game' reps
Scotty Pippen Jr. thinks the Grizzlies should have more close-game situations. It will prepare them well for clutch play execution. The Grizzlies have done a good job of closing teams early, depriving them of a chance to test their poise in close games.
"Definitely, you kind of want to run into these games early just so you could build that late game chemistry, late game rhythm," Pippen Jr. told reporters.
The Grizzlies haven't been consistently healthy, either. All key players have missed significant time during various stretches. Many core players remain, but getting more fresh reps always helps, and that's what Memphis might need. The young group could use their experience in these situations, especially against veteran teams, as that's critical to their hopes of succeeding in the playoffs.
