Scottie Pippen's ex Larsa Pippen shares daughter Sophia Pippen's rare throwback snaps celebrating her 16th birthday

Basketball Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen's ex-wife, Larsa Pippen, has taken to Instagram to wish her daughter, Sophia Pippen, a happy 16th birthday. After celebrating the Christmas holiday on Wednesday, the memories keep coming for the Pippens.

On Thursday, Larsa took to her Instagram story, wishing the duo's daughter a happy 16th birthday. The first post showed the mother and daughter side-by-side on the beach, along with a heartfelt message:

"Happy Birthday to my beautiful daughter! Watching you grow into the incredible person you are fills my heart with so much joy. I love u so much @sophiapippen33."

While Larsa lives in Miami, according to the "Real Housewives of Miami" personality, Sophia bounces back and forth between Miami and LA, where the six-time NBA champ lives. As she stated during her show's reunion back in March, Sophia loves being in LA.

Earlier this year, during the "Real Housewives of Miami" reunion, Larsa Pippen came under fire while discussing being a parent. According to Scottie Pippen's ex, the former couple's daughter gets a $2,500 monthly allowance for spending.

Some of the other cast members and reunion host Andy Cohen seemed to be in disbelief at the amount. However, Larsa doubled down, saying that LA is expensive and Sophia makes her own money as well. During the reunion earlier this year, she responded to the shock over her daughter's monthly allowance, saying:

"You guys understand, like, LA is super expensive. So after school, she orders food or Uber or buys presents for her friends’ birthdays."

With Sophia Pippen already boasting 227,000 Instagram followers, it looks like the NBA legend's daughter has already set herself up for more lucrative brand partnerships in the future as she gets older.
