In 2019, Scottie Pippen's ex-wife Larsa Pippen was linked to one of the NBA's rising stars, Ben Simmons. It was when the former Chicago Bulls star and Larsa were in the process of finalizing their separation. The TV personality was rumored to be dating the young basketball star.
According to People.com, the rumor about the two started after Simmons ended his relationship with model and reality star Kendall Jenner. The then-Philadelphia 76ers star dated Jenner from May 2018 to May 2019.
On Monday, Pippen discussed the rumor about her and Simmons on the show "Going Rogue with Larsa Pippen & Michelle Pooch." According to the former NBA star's ex-wife, she never got involved with the Australian basketball star.
"I’ve definitely been linked to guys that I’ve never even hung out with," Pippen said. "I was linked to Ben Simmons, do you remember? And I never sought him out."

Based on Pippen's claims, she doesn't even know Simmons personally.
"I don’t even know them by the way."
Before the star of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" began dating Marcus, the son of Michael Jordan, there were rumors that Pippen and Simmons were dating. While the celebrity was linked to Simmons in 2019, she denied the rumors by posting on her Instagram story.
"I never even saw him, let alone left with him," Pippen posted in 2019. "He dated my bff’s sister and I would never."
Pippen was in a similar situation during the early stages of her relationship with Marcus. The two would be spotted by the media together, and Pippen denied her romantic relationship with MJ's son. Eventually, the couple confirmed their relationship in January 2023.
Larsa Pippen said she lost more in her divorce with Scottie Pippen
Larsa Pippen was married to the six-time NBA champion from 1997 to 2021. Together, they had four kids (Scotty Jr., Preston, Justin and Sophia), and have been practicing a co-parenting approach since their separation. On her show with her best friend, Michelle Pooch, Pippen highlighted the friendships that faded away after the divorce.
"The first time I felt like I started losing friends is when I was going through a divorce," Pippen said. "I really realized that a lot of people in my life liked me just for being Scottie's wife. It was like a cleansing phase for me—losing people along the way, and then I discovered who my real friends were."
The couple have been separated since 2021 and Larsa confirmed in November 2024 that she has no way of communicating with her ex-husband. The two are now focused on their respective lives.
