Scottie Pippen waxes eloquent with $86,400 analogy: "Don’t sweat the small stuff"

Scottie Pippen's NBA career has been an inspiration for generations. The Chicago Bulls legend is a six-time NBA champion and widely considered the greatest second-best player in NBA history.

Pippen took to his X, formerly known as "Twitter" to share his wisdom of moving on from hard situations in life. The Bulls legend gave a money analogy to prove his point.

"Imagine this: If you had $86,400 in your account and someone stole $10 from you, would you be upset and throw all of the remaining $86,390 away in hopes of getting back at the person who took your $10? Or move on and live? Right, move on and live."

"See, we all have 86,400 seconds each day. Don’t let someone’s negative 10 seconds ruin the remaining 86,390. Don’t sweat the small stuff, life is bigger than that."

While Pippen's post seems unrelated, it comes days after his daughter Taylor shared that she was once robbed at gunpoint for $5. Although that experience may seem traumatic, Taylor said she now laughs about the incident.

Scottie Pippen celebrated his 59th birthday on September 25. The NBA legend received birthday wishes from everywhere, including his children.

Pippen's daughters Taylor Pippen, Sophia Pippen, and his son Scotty Pippen Jr. took to their social media to wish their NBA legend father a happy birthday.

In her Instagram story, Taylor posted a picture with her father as they held wine glasses together. In the story, Taylor wrote,

"Happy birthday."

Sophia Pippen posted a mirror selfie with her father on her IG story. Posting a picture of Pippen beside her in a white t-shirt, Sophia wrote,

"Happy birthday dad I love you."

Pippen's son Scotty Jr. also took to his social media to show some love to his father. He posted a picture from his childhood with his father who still playing in the NBA.

"Happy birthday dad," Pippen Jr. wrote in his story.

Taylor Pippen is the second daughter of Pippen, whom he had with his former girlfriend Sonya Roby.

Sophia is the youngest child of Pippen, whom he had with his former wife Larsa Pippen. Pippen Jr. plays in the NBA for the Memphis Grizzlies and he was one of the best players in the Summer League this year.
