Scotty Pippen Jr. and the Memphis Grizzlies took on the OKC Thunder on Sunday. The Grizzlies are coming off a 132-124 win over the New Orleans Pelicans last Friday. Pippen Jr. had a solid outing against the Pelicans as he notched an all-around performance with 13 points, six rebounds and four assists.
Going up against the Thunder, Pippen Jr. hoped to recreate a similar performance. During the first half, Scotty posted six points, four assists, one steal and one block in 17 minutes of play. His performance in the first two quarters put him on the right track for another all-around performance.
Desmond Bane was trying to keep the Grizzlies alive in the first half. Bane scored 15 points, attempting to keep up with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Isaiah Joe's scoring assault in the first couple of quarters.
