Phoenix Suns star forward Kevin Durant attempted to reject Bronny James' layup during the Suns-LA Lakers preseason game on Thursday, Oct. 17. However, Durant was called for a shooting foul, sending Bronny to the charity stripe for a pair of free throws.

One NBA fan pointed out that the idea of Durant blocking LeBron James' son in an NBA game is "crazy." The 36-year-old Durant, who is entering his 17th NBA season, responded to that fan by saying,

"Damn, I'm old."

Kevin Durant talked about LeBron James' GOAT status when they were teammates for the 2024 Paris Olympics

Instead of being rivals in an NBA game, Kevin Durant and LeBron James took the court together as teammates this past summer at the Paris Olympics. The two, along with Steph Curry, were the veteran leaders for the USA Men's Basketball team.

Under their leadership, Team USA brought home their fifth straight gold medal for basketball.

During that time, Durant also shared why LeBron was considered as the GOAT. In an interview with the "Today Show," Durant, said that LeBron's approach to the game, especially his energy and enthusiasm, is contagious.

"The more you’re around him as a teammate, you can see why he’s considered the best player to ever play,” Durant said.

Kevin Durant and LeBron James have had many epic battles against each other including three Finals series. The first one was in 2012 when LeBron's Miami Heat took on Kevin Durant's OKC Thunder. The Heat would go on to win that series 4-1.

They also faced each other in back-to-back Finals in 2017 and 2018 when LeBron returned to the Cleveland Cavaliers and Durant joined the Golden State Warriors. Durant's side came out on top both times.
