Fan votes account for 50% of the selection process for the All-Star game roster. According to the recent round, Ball is a top pick, having received 1,4490,227 votes, the highest number for any guard in the East. He ranks fourth in overall votes in the conference, with only Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jayson Tatum and Karl-Anthony Towns receiving more votes.

Despite the Hornets' challenging season, with an 8-27 record, Ball's impressive performance has not gone unnoticed. He currently averages 29.9 points and 7.3 assists per game. His previous All-Star appearance was in 2022, and he is hopeful for a return to the revamped All-Star weekend this year
