Since entering the NBA, Aaron Gordon has been known for his dunking ability. Despite never winning the Slam Dunk contest, he's considered one of the best dunkers of this generation. The Denver Nuggets forward recently honored one of his best in-game dunks, sending fans into a frenzy.
It recently came out that Aaron Gordon had a custom chain made of himself. The necklace is a recreation of him posterising then Phoenix Suns guard Landry Shamet. Fans were quick to respond to this, saying that the veteran guard should have beef with Gordon over this.

Gordon has had some big dunks in his career, but this poster on Shamet is by far his top one in a game.
Aaron Gordon details poster dunk on Landry Shamet
Part of what makes this dunk so special is everything going on around it. For starters, it came during one of the primetime matchups on Christmas day. On top of that, it capped off an incredible performance from Aaron Gordon in an overtime win for the Denver Nuggets.
The dunk may have got called a charge, but it was still one of top poster dunks of last season. With time winding down in overtime, Gordon rose up and threw down the monster slam on a defenseless Shamet.
Gordon erupted against the Phoenix Suns that night, posting a stat line of 28 points, 13 rebounds and two assists.
Days after the game, Gordon hopped on "NBA Today" to talk about the play. He went for the big dunk because Shamet was more focused on Nikola Jokic on the 2-on-1 fastbreak.
"You gotta guard the MVP so you got to play a little cat and mouse game back and fourth," Gordon said. "So I said if you're gonna play that game I'm just gonna take off. That's kind of just what happened."
While speaking with one of the greatest dunkers in NBA history Vince Carter, Gordon was a little more candid. He said that he went for a big dunk because he saw someone under the rim that he knew couldn't block him.
"One dunker to another dunker, that's exactly how it went. I saw somebody under there that couldn't block the dunk."
It might not have counted, but it is a play Gordon and many other NBA fans will never forget.
