NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal hasn't gotten over Rudy Gobert making millions in the league and keeps taking shots at the French center whenever he has the chance. After the Minnesota Timberwolves star was posterized against Brazil earlier today, O'Neal shared an Instagram story trolling him, saying he would've been a cashier if he wasn't 7-foot-1.

Whenever Shaq makes these types of posts or comments, fans flood social media with comments and this time wasn't the exception. Most went after O'Neal, calling him out for being a full-time hater of the new generations, especially Gobert.

Some fans put him in the same hypothetical position as Gobert.

"Ironic coming from him. Shaq would be a retail worker if he was 6'5," one fan wrote.
"This is the dumbest crictism ever. You can say this about 99% of big men in the NBA's history. And this includes Shaq," another fan said.

Others were surprised by Shaquille O'Neal putting so much energy on hating Rudy Gobert.

"How’d he even conjure up the hate to post this in the middle of the offseason, nobody thinkin bout gobert but shaq lmao," another fan said.
"Bitter old man always hating," another fan wrote.

One fan celebrated that O'Neal will only have one more year on TNT.

"Thank god we only have one more year of NBA on TNT," one fan said.

Rudy Gobert had a quiet game against Brazil and got posterized for viral video

Rudy Gobert didn't have the best game against Brazil, barely scoring seven points on 3-for-3 from the field and 1-for-2 from the free-throw line. He played 18 minutes for his team as France relied on two other NBA players to beat the South American side 78-66.

Reigning NBA Rookie of the Year, Victor Wembanyama and Nicolas Batum scored 19 points each to lead France to the win. The Spurs young star shot 7-for-13 from the floor, 1-for-4 from beyond the arc and 4-for-7 from the free-throw line.

During the game, Gobert was posterized by a Brazilian player who went up for a lob and threw it down as the four-time Defensive Player of the Year got to the ground.

This play led Shaquille O'Neal to post the story, but there's nothing Gobert can do now other than move on and try to do better next game.
