Shaquille O'Neal gives hilarious update to fans after hospital scare.

Shaquille O'Neal scared his fans recently by uploading a photo of himself lying on what appeared to be a hospital bed. However, it has been confirmed that O'Neal underwent hip surgery and will be back at work shortly.

The LA Lakers legend updated his fans on Instagram by uploading a hilarious reel showing his backside being animated. It broke the internet into laughter, something only O'Neal can do after undergoing surgery. He also joked that his surgery was a Brazilian butt lift.

"To all the people who are concerned," O'Neal wrote. "First let me start off by saying thank you. And lastly I am fine. Just had to get some BBL work done aka #hipreplacement, but yes I am fine, no need to worry."

On "The Big Podcast" earlier this month, O'Neal said that he would be back at work by Apr. 16. He also anticipates gaining weight due to his surgery and will look to get back into shape whenever he can.

"I'll be back Apr.16, and I'm going in," O'Neal said "I'm going to try and lose 30 pounds, and I'm going to try and get an eight-pack. Right now I got a little five-pack."

O'Neal added that he'll be doing the "51 Diet" that includes five meals, such as a shake for breakfast, a fruit plate, four chicken breasts with ketchup, salad and another shake. The four-time champ already underwent a serious weight-loss journey last year, where he lost 36 pounds.

Shaquille O'Neal was one of several high-profile athletes and celebrities named in a class action lawsuit for endorsing FTX. The cryptocurrency company went bankrupt last year, and some who lost their money are suing their endorsers.

One of the plaintiff's lawyers, Adam Moskowitz, told Forbes that O'Neal has been avoiding the lawsuit despite the allegations against him.

"It is really astonishing the measures he has gone to avoid service of our complaint," Moskowitz said. "The irony is that the admitted facts against him are probably the worst against any of the FTX Brand Ambassadors."

Apart from Shaquille O'Neal, other athletes named in the lawsuit include Steph Curry, Tom Brady, David Ortiz and Serena Williams. Some of the celebrities who were also part of the lawsuit include Madonna, Jimmy Fallon, Justin Bieber, Larry David and Gwyneth Paltrow.
