Savannah James and her friend April McDaniel were guests on a talk show in New York City. The host asked McDaniel about her friendship with singer Adele, who is in a relationship with LeBron James' agent and Klutch Sports CEO Rich Paul.

On "The Drew Barrymore Show" on Wednesday, the Hollywood actress and host asked about the backstory of McDaniel and Adele's friendship. The "Everybody's Crazy" podcast co-host explained that they got close during a gym session, and their relationship grew from there.

"Working out at the gym, and she was working out," McDaniel said. "I take more of a playful approach to working out, so I like a lot of breaks. So, she was annoyed at my breaks.
"She was like, 'If you're not going to take this seriously, why are you here? I was like, 'Who are you?' And then, after months, we finally, like, connected, and then we went out to dinner and it was all she wrote."

And to add a little tidbit of information about April McDaniel's friendship with Adele, the album "30" was dedicated to her. On the back of the album, there's a small note saying, "For April x."

Some fans argued about the identity of April, but the two got close during a tough time in Adele's life. She was one of the people who helped the Grammy Award-winning singer get through it.

April McDaniel knows how to make friends with famous people, first with Adele and then with Savannah James. The two got close because McDaniel was helping LeBron plan most of his events. They then both moved to Los Angeles, so that all led to the creation of the "Everybody's Crazy" podcast.

Adele is engaged to Rich Paul, who is the agent of LA Lakers superstar LeBron James, the husband of Savannah. There are plenty of connections there, but a seemingly tight-knit set of friends.

Also on "The Drew Barrymore Show," Drew Barrymore asked April McDaniel and Savannah James about the origin of their podcast. The co-hosts explained that it was all about having a platform and speaking about friendship.

"Well, we didn't strategically make it prime time," McDaniel said. "When you have real connectivity and friendship, it just feels really organic. We were like, 'We want to talk to other people, is this crazy?' And we were like, 'Maybe we'll try it.'"

The "Everybody's Crazy" podcast is in its third season and has already established a solid fanbase. They even launched an online shop where fans can buy podcast-branded items such as shirts, jackets, hoodies and more.
