LeBron James' ring collection is only growing by the year and some believe that there's even a chance that he could win another one. James will go down as arguably the greatest player in NBA history.

A big reason why many believe that he's one of the best to ever play the game is because of the success that he's found in the NBA Finals and in the postseason in general.

Although LeBron is 4-6 in the NBA Finals and some have criticized him for that, going to 10 finals is absurd. On top of that, he's also beaten some of the best teams in league history and also did so with very little help in certain years.

LeBron James' ring collection grew in 2020 and LeBron believed it was one of the hardest rings to ever win.

"I've been a part of two teams that's won the two hardest championships in NBA league history," James said on the Road Trippin' podcast. "The 2016 Cavs coming back from 3-1 versus a 73-9 team, being down 3-1 versus one of the best teams ever been assembled. ... And then what we went through in the bubble.
"And if you were not in the bubble, you don't quite understand it. You will never, ever understand how hard it was to win that championship, to be able to motivate yourself to be out of—this is literally out of your whole comfort zone. No family. I didn't see my family for eight-and-a-half weeks."

LeBron James’ ring collection

LeBron James' ring collection currently sees him with four rings. He won the NBA Finals in the 2012, 2013, 2016, and 2020 seasons.

He won the 2012 and 2013 NBA Finals with the Miami Heat, the 2016 NBA Finals with the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the 2020 NBA Finals with the LA Lakers.

The 2016 NBA Finals saw him take down a star-studded Golden State Warriors team. The Cleveland Cavaliers weren't even expected to be on the same court as this Warriors team as they took down Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson.

Golden State had won 73 games that season and jumped to a 2-0 lead in the series. On top of that, they also have the largest combined margin of victory through two games in NBA Finals history.

What LeBron James did the next five games was something that the NBA world has never seen before.

LeBron James ‘Heatles era’ ring debate

Many NBA fans believe that LeBron James' ring collection wouldn't be the same if it wasn't for the Miami Heat. The reason people say that is because the Miami Heat had some of the best players in the world at the time.

With LeBron James, Ray Allen, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh, Miami was nearly unbeatable. However, people failed to realize at the time that there were also other super teams in the league. The San Antonio Spurs are one of the best teams in NBA history.

LeBron put the debate to rest after he beat the superstar Golden State Warriors roster to win his third NBA Championship.
