The LA Lakers have struggled since their six-game win streak during November. After starting their season with a 10-4 record, the Lakers have cooled down significantly over their last few weeks of action.

In their last five games, LA has secured just one win with a 119-101 victory over the San Antonio Spurs. On Friday night, the Lakers dropped the fourth of their last five games after a 101-93 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Hall of Famer and three-time NBA champion James Worthy pointed out Anthony Davis for failing to step up in crunch time.

"[Anthony Davis has] proven that he's not the player to say, 'Give me the damn ball,' Worthy said following the loss.

"He'll fade," he added.

Worthy blamed Davis for not taking crucial shots down the stretch. The seven-time All-Star felt he failed to establish himself in the game's most crucial moments, something "AD" has been criticized for throughout his stint in LA. Friday night's loss marked just the third time this season Davis finished with fewer than 20 points, all three of which have come in his last four games.

OKC Thunder top Anthony Davis, Lakers at home

LA hosted the Oklahoma City Thunder at Crypto.com Arena on Friday where the Thunder emerged victorious, topping the Lakers 101-93 despite five players scoring in double figures.

Davis struggled to work himself into the system down the stretch, attempting just nine shots from the field in 38 minutes of action. He finished with 15 points on 5-of-9 shooting, grabbing 12 rebounds, assisting on seven baskets and swatting four shots.

The nine-time All-Star has impressed throughout the season despite shaky play as of late, averaging 29.2 points, 11.5 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.9 blocks per game. His poor play has directly affected his team, as the star forward has averaged 18.2 ppg over LA's last four games, three of which resulted in losses. LA is 7-2 on the season in games in which Davis scores 30 or more points.

In games Davis scores under 30 points, LA sits with a record of just 4-5 on the season.

"AD" and Co. will look to bounce back when they face the Utah Jazz at Delta Center on Sunday.
