Snoop Dogg is having a blast at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Sports fans who have watched the games can’t fail to see the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” singer. He has been in the “City of Lights” since before the opening ceremony.

The legendary hip-hop artist was one of the Olympic torch-bearers, took swimming lessons from Michael Phelps and even tried judo. He is one of NBC's commentators who analyzes some of the games. On Monday, he played another role for USA Basketball.

USA Basketball celebrated its 50th anniversary with the men’s and women’s players at the Palais Brongniart, the Americans’ home location in Paris. The "Dogg Father," this time, flaunted what he does best – perform on stage.

A’ja Wilson, the women’s basketball cornerstone in the Olympics, shared a clip of the rapper vibing to “Too Close” by Next. She captioned it with:

Snoop Dogg wore the national colors of the USA with Wilson’s face on his shirt. He had his trademark glasses and ever-present beret. It wasn’t just the women’s basketball team that shared the stage with the rapper.

NBA superstars such as LeBron James, Steph Curry, Anthony Davis, Anthony Edwards and others were there. Even NFL legend Tom Brady was spotted enjoying the celebration and rubbing elbows with the Olympians.

Snoop Dogg’s presence in many Olympic events has spawned rumors that NBC pays him $500,000 daily. As the games are a little over a two-week marathon, he would pocket a cool $8-$10 million for his efforts. It has not been confirmed, though, if the network is indeed paying him that much to do everything he has been doing.

Snoop Dogg will likely attend Team USA’s quarter-final showdown against Brazil

After finishing the preliminary stage with a perfect 3-0 mark, the USA men’s basketball team is in the quarter-finals. Standing in their way on Tuesday are the Brazilians who made it to the knockout stage as one of the two best third-placed teams in the tournament. Snoop Dogg will likely be around to commentate for NBC as the NBA players are arguably the biggest stars in the American contingent.

The “Death Row Records” founder traveled with the men’s basketball team from Lille to Paris for the knockout phase. He will be raring to continue that journey on Tuesday as he cheers for LeBron James and Co. to take another step closer to the gold medal.

After the NBA stars face Brazil, the enterpreneur likely has the women’s quarter-final against Nigeria in his schedule.
