As LeBron James and Team USA prepare to compete for the gold medal later today in Paris, Nike has released an all-new commercial with the four-time NBA champ. Team USA has been on an impressive run this summer in Paris, winning all three of their Group Phase games before picking up a win over Brazil in the quarterfinals.
Earlier in the week, Team USA and Serbia clashed in a highly anticipated semifinal matchup that went down to the wire. While Steph Curry led the US team to victory with a whopping 36 points, as many fans were quick to point out, once Bogdan Bogdanovic taunted Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James was put on notice.
James finished the game as the team's third-leading scorer with a 16-point, 10-assist, 12-rebound triple-double to push Team USA into the gold medal game. With tip-off just hours away, Nike has debuted an all-new commercial with the future Hall of Famer.

In it, the LA star can be seen doing pullups while a narrated voiceover plays. In it, James can be heard saying:

"I'm going for my third gold medal. But I'm still thinking about my first bronze."
A message from Nike then pops up on screen that reads: "Winning isn't for everyone". Nike posted the commercial to X, formerly known as Twitter, along with a caption that read:
"King James isn't the type to get over a loss. Even if it happened twenty years ago."
The NBA community was quick to weigh in on the commercial.

"Tonight was a big game" - LeBron James opens up on he and Team USA's narrow win over Serbia
With LeBron James' sights set on winning his third Olympic gold medal, the stakes couldn't be higher heading into Saturday's gold medal game against France. To add to the high-stakes situation, James knows that at 39, this is his last Olymipcs.
Speaking to media members after his and Team USA's narrow win over Serbia, LeBron James opened up on the game and his future. As he explained, he knows that he only has a limited number of high-stakes games left in his career despite signing a two-year extension with the Lakers.
While speaking to reporters, as relayed by BasketNews, he explained:
“It’s up there. I’m 39 years old, it’s my 22nd season. I don’t know how many opportunities and moments I’m going to get like this to be able to compete for something, to be able to compete for something big and playing big games. And tonight was a big game,”
On Saturday, LeBron James and Team USA will look to complete their perfect sweep of the 2024 Paris Olympics when they compete against Victor Wembanyama and France, a team that has come up big when it matters most.
With the future Hall of Famer's focus will shift back to the NBA season ahead after the Olympics, it's clear that James still has his foot on the gas despite heading into his 22nd season in the league.
