Draymond Green was "sorry" after Jordan Poole's postgame comments on Saturday surfaced online. Poole returned to the Chase Center and put on a show in front of the fans who once cheered him on, but the Washington Wizards fell short against the Golden State Warriors.
In a postgame interview, Poole was asked about his thoughts on playing against his former team. He expressed nothing but love for some of the people in the Bay Area and appreciated seeing a bunch of fans still wearing his No. 3 jersey (from 1:05).
"I love those guys over there," Poole said. "I love most of those guys over there. Really good group, really good staff. Shout out to the fans.
"Saw a lot of No. 3 jerseys out there, a lot of JP3 jerseys, which is always eally cool and always get a lot of love, you know? Spent some good quality time here, and it's dope to see it, appreciate it."

Many caught Jordan Poole's comments about having love for most of the guys remaining with the Golden State Warriors. Some fans even thought that it was a clear shot at Draymond Green, who had punched Poole in practice before the start of the 2022-23 NBA season.
Green caught wind of what Poole said and replied to it on X, formerly known as Twitter.
"I really am sorry," Green tweeted.
It's not the first time Draymond Green apologized for the incident, which eventually led to Poole's trade to the Washington Wizards in exchange for Chris Paul before the start of last season. He had a rough first season in Washington, but has improved individually this campaign despite the team results.
Poole dropped 38 points in his return to the Bay Area, hitting eight 3-point shots as the Wizards lost their 10th straight game.
Draymond Green only played three minutes on Saturday
The Golden State Warriors played without Draymond Green in their past three games before Saturday's showdown against the Washington Wizards. Green was dealing with an illness and was finally cleared to play.
However, Green immediately suffered a left calf strain three minutes into the game. He was ruled out for the rest of the contest and was back in street clothes on the bench in the second half.
According to the latest update on Green's injury, the former Defensive Player of the Year is set to undergo an MRI today. The Warriors would want to know the extent of the injury, which they initially called "tightness" in his calf.
Green was visibly limping after the game, which puts his status for Monday's rematch of the 2022 NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics in jeopardy. To exacerbate things, Steph Curry suffered a late sprained ankle after Jordan Poole had landed on his foot.
