After not getting more chances in the NBA, Lance Stephenson decided to pursue a career as a rapper, and fans have already seen what he's bringing to the table. In August, fans learned Stephenson was switching careers with his first track. Some fans welcomed it, but the second one appears to be headed in a different direction.
The second track, a freestyle titled 'Born Ready' and its video performance on On The Radar Radio got mixed reactions, but the bad comments were way more common.
One fan compared Stephenson to a manufactured rapper.

"Sound like a Netflix rapper lol," a fan said.
Others questioned Stephenson's decisions after finishing his NBA career.
"He should have stuck to BB," one fan said.
"It’s a good thing Lance is good at basketball," another fan said.
"If he took his NBA career half as serious as his rap career, he'd be a perennial all star without a doubt," another fan said.
Others were strong critics of Stephenson's lyrics.
After trying to make a return to the league, Lance Stephenson gave up in his attempts to find a new change in the NBA and pursued different goals. While some fans weren't receptive to this freestyle, one high-profile hip-hop listener who shared a locker room with Stephenson vibed to the song.
LeBron James hypes up Lance Stephenson's freestyle
LA Lakers star LeBron James is an avid fan of rap music. The four-time NBA champion has been seen several times rapping to lyrics in his car, becoming a meme due to his mistakes. The forward showed respect for Lance Stephenson's freestyle with a repost on Instagram and included a message to hype up her former nemesis.
"Go Crazy Born Ready!!!" LeBron said on his IG story.
LeBron and Stephenson battled on the court for years, even starting some rivalry when the former was on the Miami Heat and the latter was a member of the Indiana Pacers. They teamed up several seasons later and became good friends, as James demonstrated with his publication.
After a 12-year career with the Pacers, Charlotte Hornets, LA Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies, New Orleans Pelicans, Minnesota Timberwolves, LA Lakers and Atlanta Hawks, Stephenson called it and now seems excited about his new venture.
Some fans compared Stephenson's flow to Sheck Wes, Pop Smoke and Jay Rock, among others.
