Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry had some free time on Saturday night after getting listed as out against the Memphis Grizzlies. Curry tuned in to college basketball and celebrated his alma mater Davidson's 77-71 win over Duquesne.
In a post on his Instagram stories, Curry dropped a three-word reaction after the Wildcats outlasted the Dukes at the Belk Arena in North Carolina.
"Big win fellas!" Curry wrote.

Steph Curry first made his name at Davidson, captivating the nation by leading the Wildcats to the Elite Eight in 2008. Curry was then drafted seventh overall by the Golden State Warriors a year later, battling injuries before turning into one of the greatest basketball players in NBA history.
Davidson always has a special place in Curry's heart, with the school offering him a platform to succeed and allowing him to elevate his game. He left the program after getting drafted, but completed his degree in sociology in May 2022. It allowed the school to retire his iconic No. 30 jersey.
Three months later, Davidson held a special graduation ceremony for Curry, who received his diploma. He was also inducted into the Wildcats' Athletic Hall of Fame, and his jersey was retired. It's now hanging at the Belk Center rafters, and no other player is allowed to wear it.
Steph Curry has also made donations to Davidson over the years, including a women's program in 2021. It helped more than 200 female athletes under 10 women's sports benefitted from the initiative.
Why is Steph Curry not playing against the Memphis Grizzlies?
According to the Golden State Warriors' latest report, Steph Curry is being rested on Saturday against the Memphis Grizzlies as part of his injury management. Curry has been dealing with patellofemoral pain in both of his knees due to tendinitis.
Curry previously admitted that the injury is new to him and will likely deal with it for the rest of his career if not properly managed.
"It has the potential to be a nagging type of thing if you don't take care of it," Curry said back in December, according to NBC Sports. "Thankfully, Rick (Celebrini) has been great at trying to give me any protocol to stick with day to day, knowing that it's something I can get ahead of and not chase throughout the year, which is the plan."
Curry has missed seven games this season so far, averaging 22.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 1.1 steals.
