Steph Curry drops priceless reaction to former GM Bob Myers wondering how much the Warriors miss him

Steph Curry, Steve Kerr, and former Golden State Warriors shared a wholesome and hilarious moment during the team's final preseason game against the LA Lakers at the Chase Center on Friday (Oct. 18). Myers, who is now with ESPN after his 11 seasons with the Warriors front office was on the sidelines ribbing Kerr and the four-time NBA champion as there were laughs all around.

Curry in particular had a priceless reaction to Myers asking how much he and the Dubs missed him. The sharpshooter replied saying he still had PTSD from the time Myers departed.

"I'm having real PTSD now."

Myers' stint with the Warriors saw the side win four titles in eight years. The Dubs also made five straight NBA Finals from 2015-19 making him one of the most successful professional sports executives ever in the NBA.

As for the Warriors preseason, they ended with a successful 6-0 run becoming the only team to have an unbeaten preseason campaign. They blew out the Lakers 132-74 and will now take on the Portland Trail Blazers in an away game on Wednesday (Oct. 23) to start the season.

Steph Curry expected to play Warriors season opener against Portland Trail Blazers

The Golden State Warriors were initially sweating over Steph Curry's availability after the mercurial guard sprained his right index finger during practice earlier. He was rested for the final preseason game but is slated to play in the season opener against the Blazers.

Curry first jammed the injured finger when he played against the Sacramento Kings a week ago in a 109-106 Warriors win. He played 16 minutes, scoring six points three rebounds, and four assists. Curry then was rested for the Warriors’ next preseason game two days later but did play a solid 28 minutes on Tuesday against the Lakers.

Much of the Warriors' hopes hinge on Curry as he comes off this past season where he averaged 26.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game while shooting 45.0% from the field and 40.8% from the 3-point range in 74 appearances. Golden State failed to make the playoffs, and also underwent a massive change in personnel this summer with Klay Thompson exiting the franchise.

Steph Curry and the Warriors are regarded as a midfield side this season, but they have made the right noises ahead of the start of the season with a clean slate in their pre-season fixtures. It remains to be seen if they can get off to a healthy start this season.
