Warriors GM remains optimistic in his vision for the team's roster entering the 2024-25 NBA regular season

Similar to the previous offseason, there were a lot of questions associated with the ceiling of the Golden State Warriors' roster entering the regular season, as per ESPN's Kendra Andrews.

"I think it would have been hard to run the same team back," GM Mike Dunleavy said. "Although 46 wins is pretty good, we didn't make the playoffs. But this isn't something where it's like broken completely. We just need to tune some things up. I think we've been able to do that, and we're excited about this group."

After Klay Thompson's departure, the franchise's front office added Buddy Hield, Kyle Anderson and De'Anthony Melton to the team to improve the roster's depth. There were instances last season when the team struggled to secure wins as the young players coming off the bench provided inconsistent production.

The Warriors finished 10th (46-36 record) in the Western Conference standings with a .561 winning percentage. They were able to secure a ticket in the Play-In Tournament but came up short of making the playoffs, courtesy of a 118-94 loss at the hands of the Sacramento Kings.
