Steph Curry and his wife, Ayesha Curry, are among the NBA's favorite couples. On Thursday, in an interview released by Bloomberg Originals, Steph made a surprising revelation about his wife.

In the interview, Curry acknowledged being outrun by his wife, Ayesha, in a foot race held at Under Armour's headquarters. The Baby-Faced Assasin admitted while he discussed her non-competitive nature, only to be corrected by her, as she pointed out her past victory over him.

Steph Curry: "Extremely competitive, playing horse in the driveway, card games, board games, whatever it is, the whole vibe of just wanting to win at everything is definitely great. And then each just fit right into that. [Ayesha] Obviously didn't have much of a sports background. But when it comes to..." (Starting at 18:20)

Curry grew up in an athletic family with his father, Dell Curry, a former NBA player and 3-point specialist with the Charlotte Hornets. His brother, Seth Curry, currently plays for the Charlotte Hornets and is another strong 3-point player.

The four-time NBA champion's family athletic background had an impact on his development as a player. And his revolution of the game via the three-point shooting can be traced to the teachings of his father.

Steph Curry called out by NBA legend after Warriors' NBA Cup loss against Rockets

One of those moments occurred with 12 seconds on the clock as Curry took a contested 3-point shot and missed. Hall of Famer Charles Barkley, after the game, shared his thoughts about the Warriors star.

"As great as Curry is, that was an awful shot. If he takes his time and there's only three seconds to go. If that the ball bounces around like that, the game is over. Steph deserves some blame for this loss... The whole thing started by Steph Curry making a bad decision," Charles Barkley said.

Curry eventually ended the game with 19 points, three rebounds, five assists and two steals. He is averaging 22.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game for the Dubs.
