Steph Curry has been friends with outgoing Vice President Kamala Harris for a long time. Now, the Curry-Harris friendship is going to another level as their family members unite for a common cause.
On Thursday, Sydel Curry-Lee — sister of the Golden State Warriors guard — posted an Instagram story that showed how she was teaming up with Harris' niece Meena in the aftermath of the Los Angeles wildfire.
"Organizing clothes to send off to @meena x @babylist relief efforts," wrote Curry-Lee in her caption.
Curry-Lee tagged Meena Harris, who had announced on her own IG account that she was partnering with some lifestyle and accessories brands to facilitate the distribution of donations in the LA area.

In another IG story, Meena Harris — a lawyer and theater producer who advocates women empowerment — posted about another organization helping with relief efforts:
Curry-Lee is referring to relief efforts in support of Los Angeles natives affected by wildfires that started earlier this week. Hundreds of homes have been destroyed by the wildfires that have raged throughout areas like Pacific Palisades, Sylmar, Woodland Hills and Hollywood Hills.
Steph Curry's wife posts three-word message for those affected by the LA wildfires
Steph Curry's wife Ayesha has extended support to the residents of the affected Los Angeles areas.
Ayesha shared Airbnb's post about providing free housing to people taking refuge from the wildfires. She wrote a simple three-word caption for this post:
"Praying for everyone!"
Other people close to Steph Curry — particularly those who are part of the Warriors organization — have felt the impact of this recent tragedy. For one, the 90-year-old mother of Curry's head coach Steve Kerr was among those who had to evacuate as the fires raged through their neighborhoods.
"My family is fine. My mom is in good hands, but her house has gone," Kerr told reporters on Thursday. "The town looks like it has been completely wiped out."
Warriors' player development coach Everett Dayton also shared that his family's LA home was destroyed by the wildfires. Amidst all the turmoil, individuals and organizations are trying to provide support to those affected.
