Stephen Curry's sister Sydel Curry Lee dropped a bombshell on Thanksgiving as she announced she was pregnant with her third child with Phoenix Suns guard Damion Lee. Sydel, who has always been vocal about her pregnancies and the use of in vitro fertilization (IVF), opened up further about the procedure on Friday.

The content creator and mental health advocate posted a story on Instagram to address her pregnancy. Talking to her followers on Instagram Sydel conveyed she had a lot to share and that Damion and she weren't planning on having a third child:

"Um, all that to say. One, I'm very excited that I'm actually finally able to talk about it. There's a lot to catch you guys up on because it's been about three months of getting used to the idea. Um, it took me a while to get used to the idea. I don't know if I actually said it on here but we were very much done having kids and so yeah it was a journey to getting used to the idea of getting outnumbered and having three," she revealed.

The 30-year-old further discussed her pregnancy as she revealed her journey of now becoming a mother of three through IVF:

"It just makes it feel real when you announce it to the world, But yeah it's a freaking crazy. When you go from being told like yeah you can't have kids naturally, you have two kids already through fertility help and then you're here," Sydel expressed.

In addition to discussing her pregnancy and having her third child, the former Elon University alumna revealed she had documented her journey and would give details of it shortly.

Sydel Curry Lee and Damion Lee go on a 'date night'

Prior to her pregnancy announcement, Sydel and Damion enjoyed a 'date night' last week.

The two went to a "Blxst" concert, and she shared some photos of them at the event on her Instagram stories.

"@dami0nlee Date night! Ready to see @blxst," Sydel wrote in one story.

Having first met while they were still in college, Sydel Curry Lee and Damion Lee got married in Charlotte in 2018. The couple had to wait three years before having their firstborn mainly due to the duo's inability to conceive naturally.

Although difficult news for any couple, the power of science and innovation allowed them to welcome Daxon Wardell-Xavier Lee on November 26, 2021.

In August 2023, Sydel and Damion announced their second pregnancy on Instagram.

The couple welcomed their second child, a daughter named Daryn Alicia Lee a few weeks after their announcement.
