Steph Curry's wife Ayesha Curry reveals her strategy to deal with setbacks

Long ago, Ayesha Curry was never comfortable with being just an NBA wife. The wife of the Golden State Warriors star is comfortable taking risks, even if it comes with facing disappointments.

Just like anyone else in the professional and personal space, Curry has had to bear setbacks. But Curry has her own way of dealing with setbacks, perhaps not in the most conventional sense.

In a conversation with Diana Ransom and Christine Lagorio-Chafkin on the From the Ground Up podcast, Ayesha spoke about her strategy to handle setbacks in her life.

“No, honestly, I’m not, I can’t lie. Not well, but [I] give myself 24 hours to be angry, be sad, be confused, and then I try to move on. But I’m never going to suppress. It’s not my thing. I’m going to let it out and feel my feelings and then move on. I think it's the best thing for me,” Ayesha said.
"I try to always take a step outside of myself to see why the setback happened and then how we can fix it. And so I guess that’s a logical approach. Illogical 24 hours with a logical future," she added.

Ayesha Curry started her Sweet July brand in April 2020. She also started her International Smoke chain of restaurants in November 2017 with celebrity chef Michael Mina, who is also a co-owner.
