Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry dropped a four-word message for his wife, Ayesha, to start the new year. The couple welcomed 2025 together, with the Warriors off on New Year's Eve and Jan. 1. They are back in action on Thursday against the Philadephia 76ers.
In an Instagram post, Steph shared two selfies with Ayesha to start 2025. Steph wore sunglasses with "Happy New Year" on top of it, while Ayesha had a headband on with the same message.
"2025 with my Ish!" Steph wrote.

Steph Curry had an up-and-down year on the court with the Golden State Warriors, failing to make the 2024 NBA playoffs. Curry also endured several injuries last season though he was healthy enough to get called up to play for Team USA at the Paris Olympics.
The four-time NBA champion made his Olympic debut and helped the Americans win another gold medal. He struggled in his first few games before turning it up in the semifinals against Serbia and in the final against France. The gold medal was the last remaining accolade missing from his legendary resume.
Meanwhile, Ayesha Curry's business continued to flourish as her Sweet July Cafe opened a new location inside the Regent Santa Monica Beach Resort last October. She also gave birth to the couple's second son and fourth child, Caius Chai, in May. They have two daughters, Riley and Ryan and an older son named Canon.
For 2025, Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors have a steep mountain to climb after ending the year on a sour note. The Warriors were dominated by the league-leading Cleveland Cavaliers 113-95 on Dec. 30. They only have four wins since Nov. 22 when they had a 12-3 record.
Steph Curry gives an honest assessment of the Warriors
Speaking to reporters after the Golden State Warriors' 16th loss of the season on Monday, Steph Curry gave a blunt response regarding their situation.
"Like the kids say, we're very mid right now," Curry said, according to 95.7 The Game. "We're just very average. I think we understand that better days can be ahead, and you're not in that big of a hole in the Western Conference if you look at the standings. ... It's a tough task, but that fine line between losing hope and confidence and understanding, you know, one good week, you're kind of back in it. That's where we are."
The Warriors continue their homestand to start 2025, welcoming the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday. The Sacramento Kings, Memphis Grizzlies and Miami Heat are also set to visit Chase Center before Golden State's four-game road trip in mid-January.
