Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors visited the Toronto Raptors on Monday night at the Scotiabank Arena. Canadian rapper and Toronto native Drake was courtside and had a moment with the four-time NBA champion amid his silent beef with LeBron James.

In a video uploaded on X, formerly known as Twitter, cameras caught Curry going to the sidelines to dap and embrace Drake. The two are close friends given that the Warriors superstar's wife, Ayesha Curry, grew up in Toronto and was close to some of the rapper's associates.

Drake has not been active in watching his beloved Raptors this season. He was famously in a beef with Kendrick Lamar last year, and many thought that he lost after the release of Not Like Us. The Raptors are also one of the worst teams in the NBA at 8-31.

There has been plenty of talk about Drake recently after releasing Fighting Irish Freestyle. Many are theorizing that it was a sign that things are not great between the rapper and LeBron James. They had been pretty close until the LA Lakers superstar was seen attending Kendrick Lamar's Pop Out show last June.

Drake seemingly began cutting ties with DeMar DeRozan when he threatened to take down his jersey if the Toronto Raptors decided to retire it. He followed it up with Fighting Irish Freestyle, which alludes to James' high school St. Vincent-St. Mary.

The freestyle's lyrics also made several hints about the things Drake did for James when they were hanging out regularly during the summer. The First Person Shooter artist even unfollowed the NBA superstar on social media.

As for Steph Curry, he has stayed by Drake's side and even got sick of hearing Not Like Us over the summer, as per Billboard.
