After two quiet performances for Team USA, Steph Curry entered the third game of the Paris Olympic basketball tournament hoping to bounce back against Puerto Rico. Curry, unlike the other two leaders, LeBron James and Kevin Durant, has been unable to find consistency with his shot.
Curry tried to be more active from the beginning, moving the ball and taking shots. The four-time NBA champion scored five points in the first quarter, shooting 2-for-2 from the field and 1-for-1 from beyond the arc.
Steph Curry added a 3-pointer in the second quarter after playing six more minutes. The point guard grabbed four rebounds and one assist, finishing the first half as one of four players with eight points. Moreover, he was turnover-less after struggling to protect the ball in the prior two games.
The second half was quiet for Curry. The veteran played only five more minutes in the third and fourth quarter, adding one rebound to his stat line. He made three of eight field-goal attempts and 33% of his 3-point attempts as his shooting woes continued.

Steph Curry says he's annoyed by his shooting struggles
Ahead of this game, Curry shared his thoughts on his poor shooting in the first two duels of the Olympic tournament. The Golden State Warriors star explained that he was annoyed and would focus on different things while he recovered his form.
“You’re always annoyed, for sure, you always want to make shots but you can’t let that rob you of all that other stuff that you do to help win a game,” Curry said.
“I’m not even worried about it, just a matter of taking the ones I know I can make and that the game calls for,” he added. “I obviously want to shoot the ball well.”
