Steph Curry continues to find his rhythm in this year's Paris Olympics with the different defensive coverages he has faced. He is coming off an 8-point performance (38% shooting, including 2-of-6 from beyond the arc) against Puerto Rico on August 3, in the team's final game of the Group Play.

How did Team USA superstar fare against Brazil? The Golden State Warriors superstar put up 7 points (2-of-2 shooting) in one of his best outings to an Olympic ball game. He played with great pace and made some great reads at the half-court to help his team secure a 122-87 victory.

Steph Curry went perfect in the first quarter with no attempts from beyond the arc. Following a clock issue in the arena, Curry immediately made a quick cut to the corner three-point line and got fouled as he rose up for the jumper, leading to a perfect tripe at the charity stripe.

Aside from a missed-shot attempt from three-point range that was emphatically put back by Anthony Davis, Steph Curry had a quiet third quarter for Team USA. The ball movement looked crisp as usual for USA and the Warriors star remained in the flow of it.

With USA Basketball opening the fourth quarter on a 25-point lead, Curry was sidelined for the last stretch of the ball game.

Team USA coach Steve Kerr credited Steph Curry's ability to run as a screener for LeBron James in certain possessions

USA Basketball has showcased its dominance in the 2024 Paris Olympics with a combination of elite shotmaking and a stifling defensive identity. One of the excellent plays the team goes with is having Steph Curry as a screener for LeBron James, which forces opposing defenses to adjust and switch accordingly.

Team USA coach Steve Kerr praised the two-time MVP for his capability on this end, as per The Athletic's Joe Vardon.

"It's something we thought of immediately when we put the team together because Steph is like the modern-day John Stockton," Curry said. "He's the best screening point guard in the league in my mind. He's so physical, he's so strong. People don't really think of him like that, but teams are terrified of leaving him."

Curry is recognized as the premier three-point marksman in NBA history but he is also an athlete who is willing to adjust to whatever the gameplan asks of him.

Despite some struggles from beyond the arc in Team USA's previous games, that hasn’t stopped the 10-time NBA All-Star from playing excellent basketball.

The chemistry between the two all-stars has looked seamless in this year’s Summer Olympics as they are able to effectively play off one another. His adaptability has looked the most evident in a roster filled with elite superstars and two-way athletes.
