Steph Curry had a bounce-back game on Tuesday, scoring 25 points in a win over the Phoenix Suns. The Golden State Warriors played their second game of a back-to-back on Wednesday, welcoming the San Antonio Spurs at the Chase Center. It was an important game since it could decide the playoff seeding.
Curry has been phenomenal for the Warriors since the Jimmy Butler trade, barring his abysmal 3-point effort against the Houston Rockets last Sunday. Golden State would rather be in the top six rather than risk losing in the NBA Play-In Tournament.
So how did the four-time NBA champion perform against Chris Paul and the Spurs? Curry finished with 30 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals. However, the Warriors choked a double-digit lead after Harrison Barnes' game-winning 3-point shot at the buzzer gave San Antonio the 114-111 win.

How did Steph Curry perform against the San Antonio Spurs?
Steph Curry was phenomenal versus the San Antonio Spurs, especially in the second half. Curry scored 20 of his 30 points in the final two quarters, but it wasn't enough to prevent the Golden State Warriors' heartbreaking loss.
The Warriors were in control entering the fourth quarter, but the Spurs were so pesky that they slowly came back to make things interesting halfway through the period. Keldon Johnson made some tough buckets, while Draymond Green had a couple of costly turnovers.
Jimmy Butler also had his fair share of blunders late, though the game was seemingly destined for overtime. However, former Warriors player Harrison Barnes earned the win for San Antonio with a tough 3-point shot at the buzzer.
With their 114-111 defeat, Golden State now sits seventh in the Western Conference standings. They need to win their final two games against the Portland Trail Blazers and LA Clippers to have a chance of avoiding the NBA Play-In Tournament.
Draymond Green makes an interesting claim about Steph Curry

On a recent episode of “The Draymond Green Show with Baron Davis,” the former Defensive Player of the Year vouched for Steph Curry to be named on the All-NBA First Team. Green believes that Curry’s play, especially after the All-Star break, warrants recognition.
"He's definitely been locked in," Green said. "It's around that time. He's playing with that edge and focus, and it's showing. I think he's making an argument to snatch that last spot on the All-NBA First Team. He putting up a real case."
The two-time MVP is averaging 24.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 1.1 steals on 44.7% from the field, including 39.6% from 3-point range. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Nikola Jokic, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jayson Tatum are likely locked to be part of the All-NBA First Team, leaving one spot left.
