Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors faced off against the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday during the NBA’s Rivals Week. The two teams have shared recent postseason battles, including in the play-in tournament and the playoffs.
The Warriors entered the game amid a rough patch, having lost their previous game and sporting a 5-5 record over their last 10, while the Kings were on a hot streak with a 9-1 record in their last 10 games.
Golden State led 24-20 after the first quarter, with nine assists leading to nine buckets on 23 shots. Curry contributed five points and three assists, while Moses Moody added two three-pointers to help secure the slim Warriors lead.
In the second quarter, the Warriors exploded for 41 points while holding the Kings to just 28. Curry upped his total to 12 points and seven assists with no turnovers.

Andrew Wiggins tied Steph Curry's scoring output with 12 points, while Gui Santos provided 11 points, including three three-pointers, off the bench.
The Kings faced offensive struggles, with Domantas Sabonis as the only player in double figures, scoring 14 points and grabbing nine rebounds. DeMar DeRozan, Malik Monk and De’Aaron Fox shot a combined 6-for-20 for 21 points.
As a team, the Kings shot 39.5%, including 38.9% from beyond the arc, while the Warriors hit 14 three-pointers at a 53.8% shooting rate.
