Steph Curry and the Warriors continued a four-game road trip on Monday with a matchup against the Toronto Raptors. The two-time MVP, who did not play in the Dubs’ 108-96 loss to the Indiana Pacers on Friday, received the clearance to line up for tip-off against the Raptors.
Curry did not seem bothered by knee soreness in the first quarter. The two-time MVP led all scorers in the period with eight points. Toronto, however, uncorked an 18-11 run to end the quarter to lead 28-26.
The superstar point guard sustained his output in the second quarter. He added seven more points to keep the Dubs in step with the Raptors, which led 52-50 at halftime. Curry hit a logo 3-pointer late in the second quarter that had even the home fans cheering.

Steph Curry had six points and three assists in the third quarter, the Warriors' best stretch in the game. He helped the Dubs take a 78-75 lead heading into the fourth frame.
The two-time MVP added five points in the fourth quarter but missed a 3-pointer with 44.1 seconds remaining. Golden State trailed 102-101 when Curry's long-range shot fell short.
The Raptors had a 104-101 lead when Steph Curry grabbed the rebound with 4.0 seconds to go before Steve Kerr called a timeout. Toronto refused to let Curry get the ball, forcing the Dubs to go to Buddy Hield, who failed to hit the rim with his 3-pointer.
Steph Curry's Warriors fell to 11-13 in clutch games
Heading into the game against the Toronto Raptors, Steph Curry's Golden State Warriors held an 11-12 record in clutch games. They were tied for eighth in the NBA in such situations. Following the 3-point loss to the Raptors, the Dubs fell to 11-13 but kept their place in the rankings.
Golden State's 24 clutch games move them to second behind the Minnesota Timberwolves, who have played 25 such games. Ant-Man and Co. are 12-13 when games are decided by five points or less.
The loss also dropped the Warriors to 19-20 for 11th in the Western Conference. They can move up the ladder if they can play better in clutch situations.
