Steph Curry believes the Warriors are better than their record
Following the Warriors’ humiliating 51-point loss to the Grizzlies on Thursday, where Curry endured one of the worst outings of his career, the star guard expressed optimism about the team’s outlook.
“I like the vibes better right now... I'm going to keep saying it cause I genuinely believe it, we are better than what we have been playing, better than what we showed tonight,” he said (per Fadeaway World). “The vibes are way better. It's nice to say it but you've got to be able to do something about it. So we'll wait and see.”
The Warriors have faced a tough stretch in December, suffering five losses after only seven defeats from October to November.
"I don't like the panic word, it's more, accept where you are and buck up, and try to figure out how to change the momentum of the season. Panic means you don't have answers, we have answers."
Golden State, who are seventh in the West with a 15-12 record as of Saturday, is reportedly working to bolster its roster. Recently, they acquired guard Dennis Schroder from the Brooklyn Nets to strengthen their backcourt depth.
