Timothee Chalamet is a hardcore New York Knicks fan

When it was his turn, Chalamet asked his cast members if they knew his favorite NBA team. Bardem speculated that Chalamet wasn't a basketball fan, while Brolin mistakenly answered with "Rangers." However, Zendaya, Pugh, and Butler all successfully identified the New York Knicks.

In addition to sharing his favorite NBA team, Chalamet inquired if his castmates knew what the Knicks stood for. Brolin responded that it stood for "Knickerbockers," leading Chalamet to clarify that it refers to a type of pants.

Chalamet had already displayed elite ball knowledge before and had something to do with the New York Knicks.

In 2010, Knicks rookies Andy Rautins and Landry Fields went around New York to ask trivia questions. According to a tweet by Fields, whoever found them and answered their questions correctly would win two tickets to a Knicks game.

As it turns out, the person who located them was Timothee Chalamet. Not only did he find the two Knicks rookies, but he also answered their questions correctly.

Landry Fields played the first two seasons of his career with the Knicks. He went on to play with the Toronto Raptors for three seasons. He retired after a five-year career and is now the GM for the Atlanta Hawks.

Meanwhile, Rautins was taken 38th overall by New York in the 2010 Draft. He would only play in five games for the Knicks.
