Stephen Curry hit France with a burning dagger in the final of the men's basketball tournament at the 2024 Paris Olympics. He was the point of difference in the game against the Frenchmen and his stellar fourth-quarter performance secured the gold medal for the USA on the most prestigious international stage.
However, Curry's wife Ayesha Curry did not have the best experience in the streets of Paris after the gold medal game. A fan uploaded a video on X in which Ayesha can be seen tearing up as several policemen from the French capital surrounded her.
The Golden State Warriors star's mother Sonya Curry can also be seen in the video, helping out her daughter-in-law who had her children alongside her.

Steph's wife was stuck in a deadlock at a Paris street with her mother-in-law Sonya who was yelling at the authorities to let them go to their car. However, the authorities at the scene were not permitted to allow them to leave.
The interpreter at the scene helped a teary-eyed Ayesha and a furious Sonya understand the situation.
The President of France, Emmanuel Macron was about to pass through the street beyond which Ayesha and Sonya's car was parked with the driver waiting for them. For security reasons, no one was allowed to cross the street before the President passed.
However, not knowing the rules of an unfamiliar country, Stephen Curry's wife and mother tried to cross the street and were withheld from doing so, which caused all the commotion.
Draymond Green, Steph's teammate from the Golden State Warriors, was also present at the scene and can be seen at the end of the video. He is engaged in a conversation with the authorities about letting the Curry family pass the street.
However, the policeman remained adamant on their stance till the end of the video.
