The NBA draft begins Wednesday night. Not only is this the night when dreams are fulfilled, but it also showcases great fits among rookies who are only entering the league.
Celebrating the occasion with his outfit was projected lottery pick Stephon Castle, who wore a black metallic suit with a glittering custom-made castle chain.
A closer look at the style reveals the detail of the custom-made castle, which reflects his name’s initials “SC” and has flags in each of the two towers. The chain blends well with his grey and black suit as he awaits his name to be called to the NBA draft stage at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

In an interview posted on the SportsCenter X account, Castle pointed out that his chain is the highlight of his draft outfit.
“I let my chain really do most of the talking for my suit,” Castle said. “I was happy with the way it came out. The castle chain, last name Castle, put my initials on there. I'm happy with it.”
Stephon Castle is coming off an NCAA championship in his lone year with the Connecticut Huskies. With his 6-foot-6 frame and 210-pound heft, the guard played a pivotal two-way role in the title run, which could indicate how he may fit with any contending team in the NBA.
Castle averaged 11.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game in his freshman season. However, his shooting touch remains a weakness for teams drafting as he shot 26.7% from 3-point range, 75.5% from the free-throw line and 47.2% overall.
Castle’s biggest selling point is his willingness to do the dirty work and be a menace for the ball. He uses his 6-9 wingspan well to disrupt offenses and defend across multiple positions.
The 1guard is expected to attract interest among lottery teams and contenders looking for a plug-and-play guard.
Multiple projections see Stephon Castle go fourth in the NBA draft
Predictions from some of the biggest media companies have been consistent for Stephon Castle as ESPN, Yahoo!, The Athletic and CBS Sports all have him getting drafted fourth by the San Antonio Spurs, pairing him with last year’s top pick, Victor Wembanyama.
According to reports, Castle’s camp has been connected with the Spurs organization for a couple of months now, and the interest in drafting him with the fourth pick has been increasing.
If that happened, the Spurs will have lengthy guards for the future, boosting their guard positions, which were perceived to be their weak link.
The Spurs also have the No. 8 pick in the first round, allowing them to choose one more rookie to add to their team in the lottery.
