Steve Kerr says Golden State Warriors have hit rock bottom after another blowout loss: "You are what your record says you are"

Steve Kerr is unhappy with the way his Golden State Warriors team have performed recently.

The Warriors fell to the Brooklyn Nets last night in a disappointing 143-113 defeat, which was their fifth loss in their six-game road trip. Golden State is now 1-5 in their ongoing road trip and 3-16 overall away from home. They're 15-18 on the season.

The Warriors are certainly not playing like the defending champions, which has frustrated their coach. According to ESPN, Kerr didn't hold back when he recently called out his players. The coach told his players that the team's record is a reflection of everyone's performance.

"You are what your record says you are," Kerr said. "It was a bad road trip. We are 15-18, so we're a below-.500 team, and we've got to find a way to reverse that."

To be fair, the Warriors' main scorers Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins did not play against Brooklyn. However, it's understandable why Kerr is upset. It was the perfect opportunity for Golden State's young core to prove their worth, but most of them put up lousy performances.

James Wiseman, though, stepped up to the occasion, putting up 30 points, six rebounds and two assists. However, one guy the Warriors expect elite-level performances from is Jordan Poole. The young guard, who is signed on a four-year contract worth $123 million, only put up 13 points, two assists and one rebound.

Now that the veterans are getting old, it's difficult to predict if the Warriors can hit their stride any time soon.
