LeBron James' wife, Savannah James, was in awe of son Bronny James' first career poster in Friday's G League game between the South Bay Lakers and Rip City Remix. In the third quarter of the contest, Bronny channeled his inner "King James," replicating his dad's ability to blaze past the defense for a thunderous one-handed slam over the top of the opposing big.
The Lakers rookie's explosiveness was known. However, he hadn't captured his picture-perfect moment since his NBA journey began. In Friday's contest, Bronny had a different pep in his step, which didn't just result in his internet-shattering moment but also a career-high effort of 31 points.

Bronny James also hit a career-high five 3s. It was his second 30-point game of the season. The Lakers No. 55 pick previously recorded 30 points in a December 12 matchup against the Valley Suns. Bronny shot 12 of 22 in that clash and 3 of 9 from deep.

The James family has had an incredible past few months. The household's eldest child, Bronny James, made his NBA debut. Not only did Bronny achieve his dream, but he also teamed up with his father, LeBron James, on the Lakers, fulfilling the four-time MVP's dream of playing with his son.
Savannah James couldn't be more proud of her husband and son for achieving the feat together. During an appearance on "The Drew Barrymore Show" on January 7, Savannah expressed her thoughts, saying:
"It's a very surreal feeling. I'm very proud of the both of them, all of the accomplishments that they've made, thus far." (1:54)
"It's always been his dream, so I couldn't be more proud. I couldn't be more grateful," Savannah James dadded.
LeBron James was hellbent on making this a possibility before retiring. He first revealed his wish in January 2022. Bronny James shuttling between the G League and the NBA in his rookie year. He hasn't played many meaningful minutes next to his father, as the former USC prospect is still developing.
Bronny James seems to be doing just fine after a rough restart in his basketball journey after struggling to hit his stride following a cardiac arrest in August 2023, shortly before his college career began. He's regaining confidence, especially with the G League team, with more on-ball reps as one of the team's primary scorers.
