Some NBA fans were unhappy with former player Gilbert Arenas who said some things about the Boston Celtics' Payton Pritchard and Drew Peterson. Arenas went viral for making fun of the two players during a livestream with Rashad McCants and Josiah Johnson.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, a Celtics fan re-uploaded Pritchard's response to Arenas. He asked the three-time NBA All-Star why he and Peterson should not be in the game. The former Washington Wizards star made some remarks that did not sit well with the Sixth Man of the Year candidate.

Arenas called out Peterson for passing on a layup, questioning why he and Pritchard were in the game. It's unclear if he knows that Pritchard is averaging 16.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.1 steals per game this season. He probably didn't even notice that Pritchard had 25 points in the game they were watching.

NBA fans, particularly Boston Celtics fans, are upset with Gilbert Arenas' comments that might have racial undertones. They called out the No Chill host for saying things that made him look bad just for attention.

"Straight racism from @GilsArenaShow right here," a fan replied.
"I'm calling the racist card on this one," another fan responded.
"Dude is weird man. Says rage bait stuff like this for views every few months. Works so he's gonna keep doing it," another fan opined.

Gilbert Arenas has found success as a podcaster and YouTuber after the NBA. However, some fans are not happy with his take on certain things.

"Gilbert Arenas didn’t win sh*t when he was playing," a fan remarked.
"Gilbert Arenas is a coward, who never accomplished sh*t lol. He can hate all he wants, gotta hate from outside the club because he could NEVER play on a team as good as ours. Weep weep Agent 0!!!" one fan ranted.
"Bro is becoming irrelevant so he's gotta resort to racism… lmao," another fan commented.

Payton Pritchard was an important member of the Boston Celtics during their championship run last season. Pritchard has also stepped up to become the team's sixth man this season and is having a career year.
