NBA fans trolled James Harden after he promoted his wine on X, formerly known as Twitter. Harden ventured into the wine business in 2022 after forming a partnership with Accolade Wines to launch the J-Harden Brand for wines such as California Cabernet Sauvignon, California Red Blend and Prosecco.
In a post on his official X account, the LA Clippers star guard shared a black and white photo of himself wearing something formal. He had a glass of wine on his left hand while a bottle of his brand was on the table.
It was captioned:

James Harden was all about promoting his wine but his captions were fodder for NBA trolls online. Some fans started calling out the former MVP for his playoff failures and others made jokes.
"Tastes great in the regular season but awful in the playoffs," a fan quipped.
"Win a ring then it might be better," another fan wrote.
"Imagine giving up on being an All Star to sell cheap wine," one fan responded.
More fans pointed out that James Harden should be in the gym this offseason given that he is almost always out of shape at the start of training camp during his time with the Houston Rockets, Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers. Harden signed a two-year, $70 million deal with the LA Clippers, so there are still a lot of expectations for the 34-year-old star.
"Instead of drinking wine, work on going to the gym," one fan opined.
"Get in the gym tubs. We need 25 points a night," another fan commented.
"James Harden wines. Starts out great, then whines its way down the drain in the end," a fan remarked.

In an interview with Boardroom last year, James Harden couldn't contain his excitement about the success of his wine brand. Harden also explained why he decided to get into winery and it was not just about making money.
"As a Black-owned business owner, I want to make wine more available to all communities. I want people to know they can enjoy some of the finer things in life and do it at an affordable price," Harden said.
The former MVP added:
"We're excited and we’ve got a long way to go obviously, but the marketing plan and the marketing strategy that we're putting together is the vision that we had from the start. We’ve got a red blend, cab, and we're launching a prosecco now. I'm excited, and we're bringing something to the wine game that I don’t think has been done."
The Cabernet Sauvignon currently sells at $14.86, the Red Blend is at $19.90 and the Prosecco is at $25 although some have it discounted at $15.99.
