Coming off a nail-biting win against Australia on Monday, Team USA was back in action Wednesday ahead of the 2024 Olympics. They took the floor in Abu Dhabi for the final time against Serbia in their third of five showcase games.

Similar to their opening matchups, the United States faced off against a handful of NBA talent. The most notable player on the opposing side was three-time MVP Nikola Jokic.

Wednesday's matchup ended up being a tale of two halves. Serbia kept things close for two quarters, but Team USA ended up blowing the doors off after halftime, winning by a final score of 105-79.

Among the standouts for the United States in this matchup was Steph Curry. The two-time MVP caught fire from deep en route to finishing the game with 18 points.

As for Serbia, the U.S.'s elite frontcourt depth was too much for Jokic to overcome. He ended up scoring 16 points, but needed 19 attempts to reach this mark. Aside from scoring, the Nuggets big man came down with 11 rebounds and totaled two assists.

This was a big win for the United States, as it will help them build momentum heading into the Olympics. More importantly, they got a good look at one of the teams in their group for the Paris Games. The United State's first official matchup of the 2024 Olympics will be against this same Serbia team on July 28.

Here is a complete breakdown of how both sides faired in this international exhibition.

When will Team USA be back in action?

Following the win over Serbia, the United States has now completed three of its five showcase games. They'll enjoy a few days off to rest and recover before taking the floor again.

Team USA's next showcase game is scheduled for Saturday, July 20. Following two games in Abu Dhabi, they'll be wrapping things up in the United Kingdom.

On July 20, the U.S. will be taking on South Sudan. The game is scheduled for 3:00 pm ET. Like all their other showcase matchups, it will be aired on national television.

With only two games to go, the star-studded United States roster has limited time to finish preparing before it begins its quest for a gold medal.
