Cam Reddish described what it's like to guard Steph Curry after they went head-to-head during the Knicks vs. Warriors game Friday. Reddish called Curry the "greatest ever." The Knicks guard also cited Curry's nonstop movement as the reason behind his groin injury.

"I was competing against the greatest ever, to be honest. It was fun. Tough, too,” Reddish said (via Stefan Bondy). “He’s non stop moving. That’s probably why my groin is hurting.”

Curry was in his element again as he bagged 24 points, shooting 47.1% shooting. He also had six rebounds and ten assists as he led the Dubs to a 111-101 win. Reddish sustained a groin injury during the game. He played through it but had to sit out the entire fourth quarter. Reddish was unsure about the extent of the injury, saying he only knows it's sore for now.

The former Duke prospect guarded Curry primarily during the contest for matchup purposes. Compared to other perimeter defenders, Reddish's length and athleticism made him the ideal fit to defend the Warriors star.

However, Steph Curry overcame the Knicks' tactics, dismantling their defense with quick movement on and off the ball. He made 5 of 13 shots from the arc. Curry made an all-round impact offensively as he also registered ten assists.

Steph Curry's all-time great status continues to elevate

Steph Curry is receiving the respect he deserves from his rivals, fans and analysts. There was a question mark on his ability to lead his teams to wins single-handedly. However, he has shut down the noise surrounding those doubts after a phenomenal 2022 championship run.

Curry put the Dubs on his back and recorded one of the best finals performances against the Boston Celtics. He averaged 31.2 points, 6.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists on 48/44/85 splits during that 4-2 series win. Curry won his maiden finals MVP award for his efforts.

He has had to play a similar role again with the Warriors through the start of the new season. Golden State haven't played as well as they were expected to. They have a 7-9 record following their win over the Knicks. The Dubs are winless on the road with an 0-8 record.

Steph Curry has carried over his form into the season and has been the lone bright spot for the team. He has tallied 32.2 points, 6.7 rebounds and 6.6 assists on 50/40/90 splits. Curry has been decisive in almost every win the Dubs have registered thus far.

His co-stars Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole haven't performed up to the mark, leading to Curry having to bare the responsibility of making a difference.
