A young Pacers fan recreating Reggie Miller's famous choke celebration after Indiana defeated the New York Knicks in Game 6 of their Eastern Conference semifinal series took social media by storm on Friday. The result sent the duel to a winner-take-all showdown on Sunday.
As the Pacers were wrapping up their 116-103 victory over the Knicks, a hometown fan was spotted replicating the choke celebration made famous by Indiana legend Miller in the 1994 playoffs against New York.
The celebration took place in Game 5 of the East semifinals, where Reggie Miller towed the Pacers to an impressive 93-86 victory by scoring 25 points of his game-high 39 in the fourth quarter.

Reggie Miller has learned to live with animosity from Knicks fans
While he has long been retired from playing basketball, Reggie Miller continues to face the heat from Knicks fans every time he visits Madison Square Garden. But It is something the Hall-of-Famer has learned to live with and somewhat he already expects.
The beef between Miller and the Knicks fans stemmed from the intense matches Indiana and New York had in the 1990s, especially in the playoffs, where they were steady protagonists in the Eastern Conference.
Chants of "Reggie sucks!" has been a feature in MSG until now, manifesting most recently during Game 2 of the Knicks-Pacers semifinal series.
On "The Dan Patrick Show," Reggie Miller spoke about his relationship with Knicks fans, sharing:
"Actually, I'll be a little hurt if I don't hear, 'Reggie sucks'. I kind of want that."
The Knicks and Pacers will battle in Game 7 on Sunday in their semifinal series and Miller could be in New York to call the game for TNT, adding another side story to an already-engaging duel.
