While most NBA players and fans have loved LiAngelo Ball's hit song, "Tweaker," not everyone is on the same hymn sheet. Former LA Lakers guard Patrick Beverley went on his show, "The Pat Bev Pod," and told his listeners/viewers to stop listening to the song.
Beverley believes that the singers of Ball's song are not familiar with the lyrics. According to the former player, fans only know one part of the song and forget how the rest goes. He also mocked the song, calling it trash.
"Stop singing that weak a** song, man," Beverley said mockingly. "That s**t's a no no, that is a trash a** song, dawg.
"I think that's a song that no one knows the words to and they only know woah woah. And you have to sing it like you're an older alcoholic man."

However, Beverley did credit the song's catchiness, but he stood by his initial criticism of it and the fact that no one has any idea how the rest goes.
"It's a catchy song but no one knows any other words ... no one knows anything else."
Since its release on Saturday, Jan. 4, the popular song has been well-received by listeners. Its rapid rise to fame is demonstrated by the 6.4 million views it has received on YouTube. The song has had over nine million plays on Spotify.

Lonzo Ball gave an update on LiAngelo Ball's upcoming song
A video of Lonzo Ball and the Chicago Bulls' locker room was made public online on Saturday. Ball and his teammates may be seen dancing in the video when LiAngelo Ball's song plays. But it wasn't the newly popular tune "Tweaker" which came out that same day.
Instead, the Bulls guard teased a different song from his brother. On X, Ball said that his brother's new song would drop on Friday. However, days have passed, and the song has not been released yet.
The former Chino Hills guard clarified things on social media with a recent update regarding LiAngelo's follow-up to his hit.
"I didn’t say which Friday… business is business 🤷🏻♂️ Big News coming soon!" Ball said.
"The people are pissed lmao Don’t worry supply gonna meet the demand. He ready," he assured fans on X.
LiAngelo has taken over NBA teams' locker rooms with his song. Even All-Stars like Damian Lillard, who also raps when not playing basketball under the name Dame D.O.L.L.A, has approved the song.
It appears to have been written in 2003, and Lillard claims that the Milwaukee Bucks player "rocks with it." The player has been listening to the song a lot.
