The Atlanta Hawks recently denied Hailey Welch's invite to Trae Young to her podcast on social media. Welch, famously known as the 'Hawk Tuah Girl', announced that she'll soon start her podcast. An Instagram page known as "GAFOLLOWERS" posted a video of Welch's announcement.

In the video, the camera person asked Welch which NBA she was routing for this season. The 'Hawk Tuah Girl' said she'll be supporting the Hawks this year and flexed to the viewers her Trae Young jersey. Given that she wore Young's jersey, Welch took the opportunity to invite the Hawk's star.

Trae Young has his own podcast

While Hailey Welch wants Trae Young to hop on her podcast, the Atlanta Hawks star has a podcast of his own. Young's podcast, known as From The Point, has been running for a little over a year. The first episode aired on YouTube back in June 2023. Since then, Young has actively uploaded episodes wherein he'd have celebrities and fellow athletes as his guests.

Young's latest episode came out earlier this October when he had the opportunity to interview the number one pick of the 2024 NBA Draft. Zaccharie Risacher, his teammate with the Hawks, hopped on Trae's podcast to talk about the draft night, his life since he moved from France to the United States, his expectations for the season, and several other things.

Given the commencement of the 2024-25 NBA season, fans should expect Trae Young to be less active in uploading new podcast episodes. Young and the Atlanta Hawks will look to improve on their record this year. Last season, they finished 10th in the Eastern Conference and got knocked out of the Play-In Tournament.

This year, the Hawks are off to a good start after they beat the Brooklyn Nets on opening night. Young had a huge double-double outing, putting up 30 points and 12 assists. With their first game out of the way, Young and the Hawks will try to keep their momentum going.
