"The girls are fighting!": Fans react as Shaquille O'Neal and Dwight Howard clash again to spice up intense rivalry

NBA fans online were sent into a frenzy after Shaquille O'Neal and Dwight Howard spiced up their beef again on social media. On Sunday, Howard appeared on "The GAUDs show" where he had a conversation with Ray Daniels about his beef with Shaq.

The former Lakers star's statements did not sit right with the NBA Hall of Famer who published a response on his X, formerly Twitter, handle.

"Dwight Howard the fact u think I care about u is funny, but I won’t ever bring your name up again sensitive big man, a jokester that can’t take a joke. Won’t ever say your name again ever again. Have a great day and now u have been deleted. Have a great day," Shaq tweeted.

The fans flooded the comment section of Shaq's post and mocked the Naismith Hall of Famer for his response.

One fan called Shaq a hater for his statements.

Shaquille O'Neal and Dwight Howard have been in a never-ending beef for some time now. The beef between the two former NBA stars began over the "Superman" nickname.

Dwight Howard did not remain silent when Shaquille O'Neal called him out on X. The former Lakers star dropped in Shaq's post's comment section and left a long response.

"I know you care. Cuz yo insecure ass been hating and talking shit for 20 years. You to big to be this insecure. I hope you don’t bring my name up again. 52 years old tweeting me. And still hating," Howard commented.

Howard called out Shaq for being jealous of Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade and Charles Barkley. He also mentioned the direct message the Hall of Famer had sent him describing how Howard was not worth hating and accused him of hating him regardless. Lastly, the former Lakers star asked the Hall of Famer to grow up with the New Year.
