Charles Barkley roasted the LA Lakers following their 103-97 loss to the LA Clippers on Thursday (October 20).

Barkley has been a vocal critic of the Lakers and for their treatment of Russell Westbrook. The Lakers are now 0-2 on the season after losing to the Golden State Warriors on Opening Night.

On "Inside The NBA," the TNT crew discussed the Lakers' loss to the Clippers in their new studio in Atlanta. The Lakers put up a great fight against their crosstown rivals, but their shooting woes from beyond the arc continued.

Here are some of Barkley's harsh comments about the Lakers after the game:

"Same old studio, same crappy Lakers. The Lakers sucked today, and they sucked again today. Well, the Lakers got some summer league players. I'm sticking with my prediction, the Clippers are winning it all. Oh my God! Russell (Westbrook) was 0-for-11?"

Thursday's game between the Lakers and the Clippers was one of runs. The Clippers came out of the gate to build up a double-digit lead in the first quarter. The Lakers bounced back to tie the game at the end of the first half.

The Clippers reclaimed a double-digit lead in the third quarter, but the Lakers came back roaring again in the fourth quarter. However, the Clippers were just too good for the Lakers down the stretch to take the win. The Lakers have now lost eight straight games to the Clippers.

Lonnie Walker was huge for the Lakers, scoring 26 points. Anthony Davis had 25 points and eight rebounds, while LeBron James added 20 points, 10 rebounds and six assists. The team shot 9-for-45 from the 3-point area and are 19-for-85 this season.

Meanwhile, John Wall and Kawhi Leonard came off the bench for the Clippers. Wall finished the game with 15 points, while Leonard had 14 points and seven rebounds. Paul George put up a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Charles Barkley didn't just roast the LA Lakers after their loss to the LA Clippers. He was also critical of the Lakers front office and how reliant they are on LeBron James.

The former MVP reckons someone in the Lakers organization is not doing their job right.

"LeBron at this stage, he's the greatest of this generation, one of the best ever," Barkley said. "At his age, we should not be asking a 38-year-old guy to be the best player on your team. In no sport should a guy at that age, especially if you have Anthony Davis."

He continued:

"Last year and this year, what they're putting around LeBron is an embarrassment. Last year, they put all them geezers around him. And what they got around him right now, somebody is not doing their job in LA."

It's still early days in the season to make some moves, but the LA Lakers front office has a tough task to improve their roster. With several teams expected to be sellers at the trade deadline, the Lakers will likely be buyers, as they don't own their 2023 first-round pick.
