In addition to Kyle Kuzma, the other NBA players who became ambassadors for David Yurman are Seth Curry, Jalen Green, Josh Hart, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kevin Love and D'Angelo Russell. The brand chose these players to help establish the company as the number one in terms of men's luxury jewelry.
"When you look at the David Yurman brand, one thing that comes to mind is the artistic value. The craftsmanship to making such timeless pieces is second to none, and it's very admirable," Kuzma said about the brand in a press release.
David Yurman was founded by artists David and Sybil Yurman. David is a known sculptor and Sybil worked as a painter and ceramicist before venturing into luxury jewelry in 1980. The company is now in the hands of their son, Evan Yurman.
The company is based in New York City and has a total of 51 retail stores and 300 locations around the world. There are retail stores in the United States, Canada, France and Hong Kong.
Kyle Kuzma linked to potential LA Lakers return
The LA Lakers have struck out on all the free agents they were linked to, such as Klay Thompson, James Harden and DeMar DeRozan. The Lakers have not made a lot of changes to their roster besides the addition of rookies Dalton Knecht and Bronny James.
With the free agency market drying up, the Lakers have reportedly turned their attention to the trade market. Rob Pelinka is not armed with a lot of assets, although the 2029 and 2031 first-round picks could prove to be valuable in the future.
According to Anthony Irwin of Lakers Daily, the Lakers spoke to several teams about the availability of their players, such as Kyle Kuzma of the Washington Wizards, Jerami Grant of the Portland Trail Blazers, Cameron Johnson of the Brooklyn Nets and Bruce Brown of the Toronto Raptors.
Kuzma played for the Lakers in the first four years of his career, winning a championship in 2020. He was traded to the Wizards as part of the Russell Westbrook deal. Grant, Johnson and Brown have the same skill set as Kuzma with Brown being shorter in stature.
